October 8, 2011 - Well, I Finally have an opportunity to share some news. We have been very busy here and God has been blessing. Today we visited the orphans at Ebenezzer and shared time with them, encouraged them, and delivered some items for them. Yesterday was also a very full day of getting needed supplies, getting some preparations done for some of the other events we will be participating in during this next week. Tomorrow (Sunday) the team will be preaching in six churches. Yes, that means we will be separating and each one preaching in two churches. Pray God's anointing on us and on the ministry that will be going forth.
Thanks to each of you who have helped end us to Kenya through your financial support, prayer support, and encouragement.
Stay tuned for more updates in the next couple of days.
Friday - October 14, 2011 - We have arrived in Nairobi for the final segment of our ministry here in Kenya. Since the last posting (10/08) we spoke at six churches on Sunday (10/09) with great ministry and blessing. On Monday, 10/10 we traveled to R.O.C.K. Ministries in Kisumu and upcountry to the R.O.C.K. Malava Project. What an awesome ministry. I will be putting together more information about R.O.C.K. once we return home. On Tuesday 10/11 we traveled to Homa Bay and conducted pastor classes, then traveled back to Kisumu to start the first of three days (10/11-10/13) of pastor classes. On Friday, 10/14 we traveled to Nairobi and conducted the first day of pastor classes.
Stay tuned for more updates in the next couple of days.
Monday - October 17, 2011 - Since my posting on Friday above, we did 6 hours of pastor classes on Saturday with all the pastors telling us it was not nearly enough, spoke at 3 churches on Sunday (2 services at each church), and today we did more pastor classes with a great time of fellowship after the classes. Here is a picture of the pastors:
